Thanks and farewell

As well as bidding farewell to Jim Hasnip, ZM has recently lost the services of two long serving colleagues; one in Malawi, the other here in the UK.

Rev Cecil Bradley
At the end of last year Cecil retired from the Executive Council upon which he had served for more than 25 years. At various times Cecil has been Chairman of both the Council and the ZM trustees and has seen many and far reaching changes during his years with the Mission.

He has pastored several Churches in Scotland and continues to serve the Lord there. But we will miss him in ZM and want to express our sincere thanks to Cecil and his wife Sheila for all their hard work, good fellowship and warm hospitality over these years.

We know Cecil's interest in ZM and the Lord's work in Africa will not end here and we look to the Lord to continue to use and encourage him in His service.

Mrs Zione Majiga
Zione joined ZM as administrator in Malawi during Rev Bill Wilson's period as Mission Director and she has been a crucial part of the team particularly during the years when therewas no director in Malawi. As well as the everyday administrative work, she has been a vital link between the Mission's work in Africa and the UK, caring for the accounts, sending reports, contacting individuals and agencies and generally keeping us up-to-date news and developments.

As sorry as we were to lose her, we are delighted that Zione has now gained a university place and we trust she will know real encouragement from the Lord as she studies for a degree in accountancy. We thank God for her and will miss her services immensely.
