The annual 'bookset' conferences for Church Leaders have been running for six years during which hundreds of pastors have benefited from the Bible teaching & discussion, the fellowship & food these events have given. In addition, every participant has left with a pack of fifteen or so books to help them with their personal devotions and their public preaching. Read in full

A fine team of helpers Zambesi Mission is a small organisation with only six workers in Malawi, all serving in the vital ministry of training Church leaders in the Evangelical Bible College of Malawi. Her in the UK we have only one full time member of staff with three others working part time. However, a lot of people give their help in a voluntary capacity.

4000 at Youth Conference !! Two thousand young people were expected when the Fellowship of Youth branch of the Zambesi Evangelical Churches arranged its three day conference from 4th to 6th June. It was held at Ntcheu in the centre of Malawi and by Friday evening it was estimated that 2000 had arrived from the Ntcheu area alone. Read in full

Our main concern at this time is for the students and whether all those who have been accepted will be there! The Churches in Malawi and, more especially, in Mozambique are still in great need of well trained leaders but sadly the finance is no longer there for ZM to support all those who have been accepted for study.
