Church Planters
£48

Christians in Malawi and Mozambique are always ready to spread the gospel. Church-planters are needed to disciple new believers and establish the church among them, but in the early years the
young church cannot support them. ZM sponsors church-planters for up to 4 years, until the new church is ready to support them.
Sponsor a church-planter for one month.

A Bible
£5

‘Pastor, I am leading Sunday School next week, may I borrow a Bible from the church?’
Bibles are available in several Malawian languages, but few believers can afford their own. You can help many believers by giving a Bible for their Church “library”

Students in Bible College
£68

It is taken for granted in the UK that pastors will have had Bible college training, and mostly they will have received support for this. Likewise students at The Evangelical Bible College of Malawi depend on sponsorship.
Sponsor a Bible college student in training for one month.

Pastors’ and Elders’ Refresher Conference
£33

The Pastors’’ and Elders’’ Refresher Conference is held each year to encourage and equip leaders. It includes excellent Bible teaching, and opportunities for participants to share their own concerns - e.g. about traditional religion. Each participant also receives a set of study books.
Give a church leader this once-in-a-lifetime chance to attend.

First ZM Projects Officer
£any

We long to do more in Malawi and we have asked the Lord for someone on the ground to help extend current projects and develop new ones. Now we've found the very person with just the right blend of skills, and love for the Lord Jesus; and who knows the language and the culture. Sponsor the new Projects Officer by giving a small monthly gift.
(Please use the standing order form.)

First Malawian Field Director
£any

ZM has always believed in ‘Africa for the Africans’. Now for the first time in 118 years we plan to appoint a
Malawian Field Director - if we can raise the sponsorship. The man we would like to appoint loves the Lord Jesus Christ and knows He is calling him into full-time Christian work. He has a wonderful combination of leadership skills, spiritual maturity and personal discipleship, and we are excited about having him lead the ZM team in Malawi. He is to be a missionary to his own people and you can help make it happen...
Sponsor the new Field Director by giving a small monthly gift. (Please use the standing order form.)

Sunday School Training

£5

Training for Sunday School teachers is available and includes Bible teaching resources. Help a Sunday School teacher to attend their first ever Bible training!

 Feed an orphan child
£8

The church in Malawi is committed to its God-given ministry to ‘...care for the orphan… among you’. There are teachers to teach and cooks to cook in the Orphan Day Care centres. Help them in this witness to the community by providing food for one child for a month.

Education for poor children
£18

If food is hard to come by, schooling is out of the question for orphans and children from poor families. You can help by sponsoring a child from a poor family in secondary education for six months.

It’s easy to order:

  1. choose a gift;
  2. fill in the response form;
  3. send it with the payment (or whatever you can manage) or pay online

...and we’ll do the rest.

Just ring or email if you have any questions.

Thank you for sharing this Christmas with someone who may never heard of the
Greatest Gift of all
Luke 2:11

ZM Director: Jim Hasnip, 80 Sir Douglas Park, Thornaby-on-Tees. TS17 0JZ. Tel: 01642 763681 Email: m.beresford@zambesimission.org

NB. All figures quoted include a small contribution to essential admin costs. We are very grateful for any gift and will use it as requested on this form. If we receive more than required for any project, or a more pressing need arises, we hope you will understand if we use your gift where most needed.
