Development Manager,

David writes, “My wife Ann and I heard about the Zambesi Mission when missionaries Errol and
Sheila Salvesen visited our church in Doncaster. They explained what the mission did in Malawi & a
seed was planted in my heart for Africa. It was a number of years later that I was asked to join the
mission's UK Executive Council. Later on I became the Treasurer of the mission for a number of years.
Ann and I were privileged in 1998 & 2000 to visit Malawi to see for ourselves what God is doing
in the 'Warm Heart of Africa'. We experienced the needs and challenges which our dear Brothers and
Sisters in Christ face in their daily lives.
I would ask you to pray and support the Lord’s people in Malawi and Mozambique as they struggle
to provide for the daily needs of families affected by poverty and illness. Also for the growing Christian
Church where training and education for Bible Students, Church Leaders and Pastors is so crucial to the
growth of Christ's Eternal Kingdom. As Jesus commanded-
‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make
disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching
them to
obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age’;
Matthew 28vs18-20.”
