More Good News from EBCoM!

The imminent arrival of the Beatons is not the only cause for encouragement at EBCoM during this first term of the academic year.

Bob Setor from Ghana, who works with SIM, has agreed to succeed Megumi Fazakerley Acting Principal.

There are three Malawian lecturers on the staff this year, Louis Ndekha, Samuel Ngomwa and Michael John Phiri, all of whom trained at EBCoM before going on to university. Megumi is now Academic Dean.

Ruth & Abraham Folayan have now returned to their teaching roles after six months sabbatical in the UK. They enjoyed their term of study at Belfast Bible College and felt the course was relevant and extremely beneficial. They also spent February in East Anglia and were able to meet many friends as well as visiting some supporting Churches

The term started with a number of multicultural seminars for the students, the staff and the council. They contained small group as well as plenary sessions and allowed many issues to be happily discussed. As ZM's Bill Wilson comments, "Valuable lessons were learned in a non threatening atmosphere".

Praise God with us for these positive developments and please continue to pray for the college and its vital ministry of training pastors and leaders for the rapidly growing evangelical Churches in Malawi and Mozambique.
