Leaders from 33 Church groups attended the conferences. The picture
shows John, with Alfred, a Salvation Army officer, and Makweya, an Anglican
minister as they gratefully hold their books.

Each afternoon several groups met for study and discussion	Outside the main hall of the Evangelical Bible College of Malawi, venue for the first conference.
