The FoY Chairman James Mkwezalamba was tragically killed in a road accident on 16 January.

His wife Mercy has only recently been appointed as Co-ordinator of the Student Wives’ Course
at EBCoM.

  • Please remember Mercy and the children in their grief. James who worked for the Portland Cement Company was a highly respected elder at Ndirande ZEC and greatly valued by all our colleagues in ZM as well as his many friends in ZEC and other Churches.

  • Abraham Folayan had already launched a fund to build a house on the EBCoM site for the Co-ordinator of the Wives Course and this now becomes a matter of urgency. Abraham writes, “ It will be of immense assistance to Mercy and her children who have to move from their present house which is rented by James' company. I am thinking of moving her to a temporary accommodation on campus pending the building of the staff house. Pray that this will be agreed to by relevant members of the Council that I intend to contact shortly”.

  • Please also pray that the £5000 funding needed to complete the house will soon be available
