Let me take this opportunity to thank the Lord for assisting and start with us this new year of 2002. The three months were another good and busy period.
This was a period for planning for the 2002 Training programme. I was making evaluation of the 2001 programmes and I was also doing the evaluation of the
Department its self. Some of the points noted are as follows:
- 91% of the leaders and other Christians were happy the way the Department is run and how it is organizing its seminars.
- Since in 2001 it concentrates on Kotales (Area groups of Churches), They say this year they will be happy if the department
will also be able to have Local Church seminars
- Those Churches who are doing Bible Studies are improving in many areas.
- Need for the Department to be preparing the Bible Study materials for the Churches in the first two years.
During this period we had four seminars and we reached 495 Leaders. The seminars
were as follows:
1. Southern Pastors Conference 24th to 26th January.
This seminar gathered 92 pastors who come from all Churches and department in the South. We had two pastors from other Churches who challenged our lives.
Bill and Folayan were also very instrumental. Pastors made a lot of confessions and recommit them self to each other and to the Church. At the end we chose
a task force to come up with some resolutions on how we can maintain our relationship and ministry.
2. 8th to 10th February
We had a leadership and management seminar with Lilongwe Kotare. This is one of the biggest Kotare. It has 26 Churches so we had 305 Leaders gathering together
for the teaching. A lot of Churches were encouraged and every night we were having Evangelistic Crusades. A lot of people come to Jesus.

3. 13th February
This was a big day because it's when Leadership Members meet to evaluate and plan for the year 2002. See the attached 2002 Training Department plan.
4. 21st to 23rd February
This time we had another Pastors Conference in the Central Region, which gathered 68 pastors. The programme was just the some as the Southern conference.
5. 21st to 24th February
This time the people who went through intensive Bible Study training had a chance to teach others on how to lead others as Bible Study Leaders. 30 people
benefited from this programme.
.
Lastly I would like to thank ZM and friends in UK for praying and assisting us, which has made these programmes to be a success. Please pray for the 2002
programme.
